[Victoria and Salt Spring Island]

[Eleven client sites live]
One page or ten, every site I build comes with the same four things. Yours to run, from the day it launches.
Designed from scratch around your business, not pulled from a template, and built to load fast on any phone.
Change your text, photos and prices whenever you like. Log in with your email, press save, and it's live in about a minute.
I host your site on my own account, so you never get a monthly hosting bill.
On the 1st and 15th of every month, Tideline checks that your site is up, your contact form still sends, and your domain and certificate haven't lapsed. If something breaks, I hear first.
Three of the most recent. Each one is run by its owner.

Salt Spring Island
A first website for a Salt Spring excavating and septic company, built around photographs of their own jobs and a dashboard they update themselves.
Victoria
Rebuilding a multidisciplinary Fernwood clinic's outdated site into a calm, modern home for six therapies, edited by the clinic's own team.
From your first message to a site you run yourself, in one to three weeks. The price is fixed before any work starts.
A short message through the contact form: who you are, what you do, and what you have now. Nothing to prepare.
I build a real preview of your new homepage from what is already public about your business. No commitment, no meeting required.
If you like the direction, you get a written proposal with scope, timeline, and a fixed price. A 25% deposit books the build.
I finish the build with your feedback along the way, launch with you, and hand off a recorded walkthrough plus a month of free edits.
Every review on Google is five stars. Here are ten of them, word for word, beside the site each client got.
Working with Owen on the Maid in Victoria website was honestly one of the best business decisions we've made.
From the very beginning, he really took the time to understand not just what we wanted the site to look like — but how we wanted our brand to feel. He was incredibly patient with all of our ideas (and changes), super responsive, and genuinely cared about getting every detail right.

I design and build every OBdesign site myself, and I'm the person you talk to from the first message to long after launch.
I grew up on Salt Spring Island and I'm in my fourth year of software engineering at the University of Victoria. Before OBdesign I ran a painting business with a crew of four across Salt Spring and Victoria, so I know how little time a small business leaves for its website.
That's why every site is built to run without me. It's custom-coded, not a template. It comes with a dashboard you can edit from your phone, and I host it for free. When you do need me, you get me, not a support queue.
On the Island, I'm happy to meet in person. Or call me on 250-222-6054.
The six questions every business owner asks first. Anything else? Just ask.
Tell me about your business through the contact form and I'll build a real preview of your new homepage from what's already public: your current site, socials, photos and reviews. Usually within a week, nothing to prepare, no obligation. If you love the direction, sites start at $750 and the preview becomes the foundation of the real build.
Projects start at $750 for a Landing Page and $1,500 for a Business Website. Advanced Websites with booking or a shop start at $3,500, and custom applications are scoped per project from $5,000. Every quote is fixed before work starts, and the full breakdown is on the services page.
A Landing Page takes about a week. Business Websites usually run two to three weeks. The biggest variable is how quickly feedback comes back.
Yes. Every package includes a simple editing dashboard for your text and photos, and I record a walkthrough video at handoff so you know exactly how to use it.
Yes. I work with clients across BC and beyond, and the process works just as well remotely. On the island, I'm always happy to meet in person.
Changes and fixes are free for the first month after launch. After that, most things you can change yourself in your dashboard, and anything bigger is quoted one-off. Hosting is free: I host your site on my own account, so there are no monthly fees.
